Quien Sabe Wabi Sabi?

This subject has been hashed over many times on various blogs, I'm sure. But recently on a Buddhist website, I frequent, someone was writing that he had just purchased a book for his child, Wabi-Sabi, a story of a cat living in Kyoto. The writer asked the question about the true meaning of Wabi-Sabi. I don't think I have the deep down and beautiful Japanese understanding of that topic. So I posted this piece by architect, Tadao Ando answering the question "What is Wabi-Sabi?" This is a little long so you'll be scrolling a little, but it is wonderful essay. As Mr. Ando says, "Wabi, not slobby".
