Dr. Weil on Japan

I subscribe to the good Dr.'s newsletter. It is sometimes overcrowded with supplement ads, but the nitty gritty he suggests is very helpful.
This morning's note and shared photos was very Noteworthy.

Andrew Weil is one of the people I most admire. He teaches at U of Arizona, Tucson.

A ride with Octavio Orduno at 102

I hope I will be able to do this without getting lost or riding off a cliff. His wife made him buy a tricycle because he fell off of his two wheeler.

Bicycle Security Over the top.

\
I had read somewhere that painting your bike red and adding more that one lock system will secure your bike in a high theft area.

Don't know the name of the photographer to give credit. Thanks whoever you are.

Interesting bike prototype

Nice design, but I don't see any gearing perhaps it is more like a fixie.

Humorous Safe Bike Riding video from San Francisco

I posted this else where, but I thought it was cleverly done. Well produced video for the City of San Francisco bike riders. Safe Riding. Other cities should adopt this.

A little family history, preserved.

Was poking around Google maps, Tucson, and found the adobe house where my dad was born. Interesting enough that old adobe is now a permanent part of the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic block. If you click on that, wait a few seconds, it will switch to street view.
